Ram is preparing three new models for North America by 2030
Ram is actively expanding its lineup, introducing several new models over the past six months. The brand started the year with the presentation of the 1500 TRX SRT and 2500 Power Wagon diesel for the New Year. Later, the new ProMaster City, the high-performance Rumble Bee family, and various special editions appeared.
Ram is not stopping and plans to add three new models to its North American lineup. The first will be a compact pickup truck based on the South American Rampage.

Little is known about the American version yet, but the Brazilian model has a crew cab with a bed length of 4.75 feet (1450 mm). The overall length of the pickup is 198 inches (5028 mm), making it slightly shorter than the Ford Maverick.
Features include a 10.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment system. Customers will be able to choose a 2.2-liter turbodiesel, but more attention is drawn to the 2.0-liter four-cylinder Hurricane engine with 268 hp (200 kW / 272 hp) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque.
Dakota will become the most powerful midsize pickup in the US
Following the compact pickup, a midsize Dakota will appear. This model has been talked about for a long time, and now the company has confirmed plans for a high-performance SRT version.
The latter promises to make the Dakota the “most powerful midsize pickup” in America. This means it will surpass the Ford Ranger Raptor, which is equipped with a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 engine producing 405 hp (302 kW / 411 hp) and 430 lb-ft (582 Nm) of torque.
Ramcharger marks a return to SUVs

Last but not least will be the full-size Ramcharger SUV. The model (unnamed) was announced last fall and will be produced at the Warren Truck Plant in Michigan. The company previously stated that production will begin in 2028, and the SUV will be available with both an internal combustion engine and a hybrid powertrain with extended range.
Given that the Ramcharger will be produced alongside the updated Jeep Grand Wagoneer, it can be assumed that these two models will have much in common. This means we can expect a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine with 420 hp (313 kW / 426 hp) and 468 lb-ft (635 Nm) of torque. The automaker has also confirmed plans for an SRT version.
It will be joined by a hybrid powertrain that combines a dual-motor all-wheel drive system with a 92 kWh battery pack and a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine acting as a generator. This gives the Grand Wagoneer REEV a total output of 647 hp (482 kW / 656 hp) and 620 lb-ft (840 Nm) of torque. The company also stated that the SUV will accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (0-96 km/h) in five seconds and have a range of over 500 miles (805 km).
New full-size pickups and ProMaster

Although the new models have received the most attention, Tim Kuniskis also confirmed plans for a new 1500. The long-awaited 1500 REV is also on the way, and the company hopes to be the first to offer a full-size pickup with a hybrid powertrain with extended range.
By the end of the decade, we will also see a new heavy-duty pickup and ProMaster van. Details are not yet known, but Kuniskis stated that the entire Ram lineup will be 100% updated, with 50% of models being completely new. He added that the brand will present the freshest and most powerful lineup of pickups in the industry.

Thus, Ram is betting on an aggressive update of its model lineup to strengthen its position in the pickup and SUV market. The return of the Ramcharger name, once iconic, signals the company’s desire to combine heritage with modern technologies, particularly hybrid powertrains. Competition in the midsize pickup segment promises to be fierce, especially with the arrival of the Dakota SRT, which will challenge players like the Ford Ranger Raptor. Overall, Ram’s plans by 2030 look ambitious and aimed at meeting the needs of various customer categories — from compact urban pickups to powerful full-size SUVs.
